Faith Life

Students of St. Edward School represent a diverse faith and religious background. While all of our students are required to attend mass and participate in daily prayers of the Catholic Tradition, students are not required to join or to belong to the Catholic Church.

Our prayer life is rooted in a strong Catholic identity and through these daily expressions of gratitude and thanksgiving, all students learn reverence, how to appreciate stories and traditions that find origins beyond our temporal world, and learn basic aspects of core Christian beliefs. Through these shared faith experiences, our students learn how to treat each other with reverence, how to respect all types people and religious backgrounds, and how to think of others before themselves. This aspect of education which is focused on faith and the inherent dignity of all is part of what makes St. Edward School a multidimensional educational experience that serves as a great foundation for years to come.
