  Sunday, November 7, was National Hug A Bear Day. On Monday, November 8, preschool brought a bear or a special soft toy to hug on through out the day.

  Our maintenance volunteer, Dennis Witajewski, repaired this airplane that has been out of order most of the year! The kindergarteners were very excited to have it back to play on this past week.

  Preschool have been working to remember the days of the week. On Friday they knew it was Friday. In honor of that, they were gifted French fries. Fries for Fri-day. They were also visited by the 2nd grade students for some individual reading time.

  On Thursday, November 4, preschool sorted syllables. They are studying Food/Nutrition so they sorted foods in to sack lunches.

  Ms. Marshall's 4th & 5th graders created some unique business ventures in our study of economics. The future looks bright with our entrepreneurs! Thanks to Sherry Judy for her visit to our classroom to discuss the “how-to's” in starting a business.

  Mrs. Cockrell's 4th and 5th graders experimented with wave erosion recently.

  Mrs. Cockrell's 4th and 5th graders completed a “Bone Bridge Challenge” where they could only use q-tips, pipe cleaners, and popsicle sticks. Students built their bridges to support over twenty candy pumpkins.
